McDonald is a small lunar impact crater located in the central Mare Imbrium. This crater is a cup-shaped feature with a circular rim, and has not been significantly eroded. It lies to the southeast of the slightly larger crater Carlini, in an isolated part of the mare.


McDonald is a borough in Allegheny and Washington counties in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, 18 miles (29 km) southwest of Pittsburgh. In the past, manufactories of bottles, oil-well drilling tools, flour-mill products, etc., existed here.


MacDonald, Macdonald, and McDonald are anglicized forms of the Scottish Gaelic name "MacDhomhnaill". It is a patronym where Mac means "son" and Dhomhnaill means "of Domhnall (world ruler)".

Shrek! is a picture book written and illustrated in 1990 by William Steig about a young ogre who finds the ogre of his dreams when he leaves home to see the world. The name "Shrek" is derived from the German and Yiddish word "Schreck"/"Shreck", literally meaning "fear, terror.


Shrek is a 1994 album by Marc Ribot. It was recorded at Low Blood Studios in New York City and released on the Japanese Avant label.


The Shrek film series from DreamWorks Animation, based on William Steig's picture book, Shrek!, consists of a number of films including: Shrek (2001), Shrek 2 (2004), Shrek the Third (2007), and Shrek Forever After (2010).
